Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA)

ADCO Medical Suppliers LLC proudly supports the Defense Logistics Agency. We have a comprehensive selection of clinical products available under Contract Number SP0200-25-H-0015.

Procurement in defense and federal environments often involves coordinating multiple pathways to meet organizational needs, mission requirements, and supply channels.

The Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) is a contract mechanism administered by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support that provides federal buyers with access to medical and surgical products through prime vendor distribution channels. This structure supports consistent distribution, efficient fulfillment, and alignment with DLA contracting compliance.

This page organizes the product collections available under DAPA so you can locate approved items without manually navigating the contract documentation. If you are unsure whether DAPA applies to your purchase or need help confirming the correct procurement route, ADCO’s support team can assist.

How Procurement Works Under DAPA

High-level answers to common questions about ordering, compliance, and workflow when procuring through ADCO under the DAPA contract.

A DAPA (Distribution and Pricing Agreement) is not a contract, but a pre-approved, priced product list. Prime Vendors (PV) use this list to fulfill orders for DoD and federal customers. Prime Vendors provide 24-hour delivery of items that have established DAPA pricing, serving as the logistics arm for the Defense Supply Center. As such, orders are not placed directly through ADCO under DAPA, but instead, they are placed through the assigned Prime Vendor for your region.

A Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) is primarily used by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to procure medical and pharmaceutical supplies for the Department of Defense (DoD) and military treatment facilities worldwide.

A Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) supports consistency by establishing a direct agreement between manufacturers/suppliers and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), fixing product pricing and ensuring authorized distribution channels for medical and pharmaceutical products. It standardizes costs, prevents unauthorized pricing fluctuations, and ensures uniform availability across Prime Vendor programs. At ADCO, we take this one step further by partnering with reputable manufacturers in our industry to negotiate pricing and volume discounts, ensuring that products are available to our federal customers at the best possible prices and are readily available from our facility.

Every agency or department has its own procurement process. Generally speaking, once a product need is identified, the purchase must be approved by an ordering official or the logistics department. That purchase is then processed through the appropriate channels.

If you are unsure whether or not to use DAPA for your purchase, please contact us for assistance. We will review your eligibility (if necessary) and provide guidance on the most applicable contracts available, specific to your needs. Our team is available at 800-726-0851 or pros@adcopros.com
