Q: What size will fit into my patients ear? 
A: EarWay® is available in 3 sizes; 4.2mm (S) 5.4mm (M) 6.5mm (L) in diameter. The helical head has to fit the entry to the ear canal without forcing nor leaving space around it. Most people prefer the M (purple) size. You should feel the helix turning against the canal walls. If not, move to a L (green) size. 

Q; Will my patients be uncomfortable? 
A: The ear canal differs from one person to another in terms of size and shape; likewise, the sensation of the helical head entering the ear canal as you rotate the wheel can feel different to different people. Begin the rotation as soon as soon as you place the handle at the entry of the ear canal. This will help them gradually get used to the sensation of the device rotating.

Q: Is EarWay Pro reusable? 
A: No; this device is not meant to be reused due to the risk of cross-contamination. Additionally, using the same helical head of the device more than 2 times may damage its shape causing it to lose its efficacy and potentially cause harm to the patient. 

Q: What type of earwax can I remove with EarWay Pro? 
A: EarWay Pro works best with soft, sticky cerumen. For harder earwax, consider using softening drops prior to the wax removal process to help make the process easier and your patient more comfortable. The EarWay Pro will not work with runny earwax.
