The Bionix Rechargeable Light Source is a handheld illumination unit designed for use with the full range of Bionix lighted ear care instruments, including ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes and OneLight microsuction handles. Sold individually, it serves as a replacement or additional light source handle for practices that already use Bionix lighted instrumentation, or as a standalone purchase for clinicians expanding their in-office ear care setup.

The unit charges via USB-A to USB-C cable and includes a magnification lens for enhanced canal visualization during cerumen removal and foreign body management procedures. It is compatible with the Rechargeable Light Source Charging Base, which charges up to four units simultaneously and is available separately.

Note: Bionix lighted instruments are not included. The light source is designed to be disposed of once the light output dims rather than cycled indefinitely, consistent with Bionix's single-patient-use design philosophy for lighted components. MPN 3600, made by Bionix.

For practices looking for a complete illuminated ear care solution, the OneLight MicroSuction & Curettage Combination Pack bundles the light source, instrumentation, and charging base in a single purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Bionix instruments is the rechargeable light source compatible with?

The Bionix Rechargeable Light Source is compatible with all Bionix lighted instruments, including ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes, OneLight microsuction handles, and other Bionix lighted ear care products. The instruments themselves are not included and must be purchased separately.

How is the Bionix Rechargeable Light Source charged?

The light source charges via the included USB-A to USB-C cable. For practices managing multiple light sources, the Rechargeable Light Source Charging Base charges up to four units simultaneously and is available separately from ADCO Medical Suppliers.

Is the light source reusable indefinitely?

The Bionix Rechargeable Light Source is rechargeable but is designed to be disposed of once the light output dims rather than used indefinitely. This is consistent with Bionix's design approach for lighted clinical components.

Is the Bionix Rechargeable Light Source available under federal contracts?

Yes. ADCO Medical Suppliers holds active FSS, MSPV, DAPA, and GSA contracts covering this product. VA facilities, DoD clinics, and MSPV-participating health systems can procure it through established federal purchasing channels. Contact ADCO at fss@adcopros.com or 800-726-0851 for contract purchasing assistance.

What is the magnification lens included for?

The magnification lens attaches to the light source and provides enhanced visualization of the ear canal during cerumen removal and foreign body management procedures, reducing the need for a separate loupe or magnification device during instrumentation.
