ADCO Supports Deaf Planet Soul's Mission Trip to Lebanon

Deaf Planet Soul is an organization serving and empowering the Deaf and hard of hearing community through outreach programs, education and training. In 2016-17, they launched the world's first Deaf-led humanitarian aid mission serving the deaf refugee children of Syria and Palestine. During this trip, they screened 170 children, distributed 117 hearing aids, and counseled 255 parents. The impact of this mission trip was immeasurable, and this incredible organization is planning their second mission trip this summer to help children located in the isolated refugee camps in Lebanon to fit hearing aids and provide sign language resources to war-deafened children.

At ADCO we are proud and honored to play a small part in their efforts by providing supplies to be used during this trip. We will be sharing updates and photos as they become available!
